What is InfraViz.ai?
InfraViz.ai is an AI-powered platform for visualizing infrastructure projects. It transforms project specifications into high-quality renderings using advanced AI technology, helping engineers, planners, and developers better communicate project ideas.
Who is it for?
Civil engineers, city planners, developers, architects, marketing teams, and public engagement specialists.

Do I need an account?
Yes. We have a Forever Free Plan allowing users up to 5 images per month. Beyond that, Paid Plans are available to generate more images and manage team accounts with multiple users.
What happens to my data?
We only store essential user inputs and generated content for functionality. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more.
How do I create an image?
- Go to the New Project page
- Use the 3-column dropdown Roadway Design interface to choose your typical section layout (Left of Roadway, Roadway, Right of Roadway Components)
- Enter any additional special instructions if necessary
- Click "Create Project"
- View, download, or regenerate with additional edits
What components can I add?
Examples include:
- Travel lanes, bike lanes (with or without bollards)
- Medians (painted or landscaped)
- Sidewalks, buffers (grass or pavers)
- Street trees, benches, lighting, signage, poles
Can I reorder or nest components?
Yes. The builder allows reordering and nesting where appropriate—for example, placing benches behind sidewalks or adding streetlamps within landscaped buffers.
Can I edit dimensions?
Defaults are provided, but width editing is available in the Selected Components section after the Roadway Elements are selected.
What kind of image is produced?
Choose from over a dozen different visual styles ranging from photorealistic street-view renderings to vintage postcard style images based on your selection.
Are the renderings accurate?
They're visually representative, not dimensionally or technically exact. Always consult your engineering/design documents for precision.
Can I upload my own image to transform?
Yes. The user uploads a base image as reference for the AI model to transform.
Can I customize background elements?
Yes. By default, our AI model is set to retain the existing background elements such as buildings, scenery, etc. but you can choose to specify any background additions or revisions desired. For example, you could say: add mountains in the background and a beach on the right side.
What are credits?
Each image render costs 1 credit. Free users get a limited number monthly. Paid tiers unlock more.
What happens when I run out?
You'll be allowed to continue generating images at the price per image rate associated with your subscription if you choose. This setting can be managed by admin users.

My image didn't turn out right—what can I do?
- Double-check component selections
- Try removing conflicting elements if any exist
- Regenerate the image
- Contact support at contact@infraviz.ai
Try simplifying your layout or tackling the editing process into a few rounds. Some component combinations can cause overly complex signals to be sent to the AI model, lowering the accuracy achieved for that specific image generation.
The page isn't loading correctly.

- Try disabling browser extensions
- Ensure your internet connection is stable
Can I request a new feature or component?
Yes - email contact@infraviz.ai with any new feature requests. We love hearing from our users and doing all we can to improve the platform.
How are updates released?
We typically publish major feature releases during the middle of the night to minimize usage impact. Subscribe to our email list for update announcements.
Who owns the images I generate?
You do. You may use them for presentations, proposals, or marketing, subject to the Terms of Service.
Can I resell the images?
Yes, if they are part of a service offering (e.g., proposal preparation). You may not resell the tool or offer it as your own product.
